Overview

Role: To become a volunteer driver and transport members of the charity to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport members using the charity’s minibuses and vans to activities, including journeys from the base to lunch clubs, social activities during weekdays and weekends, and shopping or equipment transport as needed.
• Support wheelchair users and assist with safe and secure wheelchair operation where required.

Requirements

• Drivers must be over 21 and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Training will be provided for driving the minibus, operating the wheelchair lift, and safely securing wheelchairs.

Time commitment

Dependent on activities and events.
