Job summary

Frank Dale & Stepsons Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on logistics driver to support vehicle movements and workshop operations. You will drive classic and luxury cars, collect parts, and assist with showroom moves, with a strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness and teamwork.

A full clean driving licence is required and applicants must be over 25 for insurance purposes. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5pm, with a starting rate of £14.00 per hour.

• Drive to collect parts and provide convoy support as needed
• Drive customer cars to destinations and move vehicles around workshop/showroom
• Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the workshop and premises

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a vital part of the logistics team here at Frank Dale.

The position will involve driving to collect parts or convoy support vehicle driving as well as some general cleaning of the cars. You will also be driving customer cars to their destination or perhaps move them around the workshop and showroom, therefore experience of confidently and competently driving classic cars, as well as large luxury modern cars is essential.
We deal with Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles dating from the early 1900s right through to the present day and so it will be useful for applicants to have previous experience in this kind of environment to ensure the highest possible standard is achieved for our clients. Being able to work independently and taking the initiative is also important in this role.

There will also be the requirement to support all aspects of the workshop premises to ensure the smooth running, safety and cleanliness of the environment. Taking pride in your work, you will have a tidy, practical and efficient work ethic, and enjoy being an integral part of the wider team who will rely on your input. A ‘can do and want to help’ attitude is a must.

This is a varied and interesting role which could offer the right person the chance to develop themselves within an established yet growing company. This role may appeal to an older person, with an interest or experience in this field, looking to return to the workplace.

A full clean driving license is required and you must be over the age of 25 to apply for the role for insurance purposes.
