Kinaxia Logistics in Bristol is recruiting a Driver Trainer to assess and train drivers, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency in daily tasks. The role delivers CPC training, maintains records, and supports audits.

• Proven experience in driving training and CPC/driver assessment.
• Ability to monitor driver performance and complete audits.
• Experience using telematics to analyse driver behaviour.
• Knowledge of FORS standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist all Drivers to ensure they can complete daily tasks safely and per regulations.
• Deliver Driver CPC training and maintain records for hours before expiry.
• Maintain records for internal and FORS audits.
• Utilise telematics to monitor driver behaviour and complete de-briefs to improve safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR to onboard new Drivers with health and safety training.
• Collect information and generate group reports for Compliance.
• Monitor Driver hours and Working Time in line with current legislation and provide training as needed.

Kinaxia are recruiting a Driver Trainer to join their team at their site in Bristol. The role of the Driver Trainer will be to provide ongoing assessments and training to all Drivers to ensure they have the skills and capability to fulfill their role effectively, efficiently and safely.

About the job:

• Monitor and assist all Drivers to ensure they have the ability to complete their daily tasks in accordance with all regulations without taking, or causing any additional risks;
• Deliver all Driver CPC training and maintain accurate records to ensure all the required hours are completed prior to their expiry dates;
• Maintain accurate records for internal purposes and FORS to ensure each location meets all required standards in preparation for both external and internal audits;
• Fully utilise the telematics systems to monitor driver behaviours and safe driving, including monitoring infringements and completing driver De-Briefs to ensure they are driving safely and efficiently and meeting agreed KPI’s;
• Work closely with HR to induct and train all new Drivers during the onboarding process with regards to Health & Safety and Safe Working Practices to ensure each employee has the skills and knowledge to work safely both within their role and environment;
• Collate required information, including Driver behaviours into Group reports in order for the Compliance Department to maintain accurate statistical data.
• Monitor Driver’s hours and Working Time in line with current legislation support drivers with additional training as required.

Your knowledge and experience:

• Instructors Licence
• Approved Driver CPC trainer
• Class 1 driving licence
• Driver assessor or instructor experience
• Experience of completing driver assessments
• Preparation of all business documentation and training for audits including FORS
• The ability to apply the application of Driver regulations into practice
• Telematics systems such as TruTac, microlise, haultech
• Presentation skills to include the delivery of internal training sessions.
• Administration skills to record and maintain accurate records and statistical data
• Data Analysis to look for any trends in behaviour or incidents
• Effective communication skills with all employees to create long-term relationships
