Wilson James is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as a Driver / Store person at their site near Heathrow.

The HLI is a complex contract, and the Store person and Multi Drop Airport delivery driver roles are key in delivering the high service level demanded by the client. These roles will cover various duties within EMD, requiring cross-training in multiple skills to meet the diverse demands. The role is fast-paced and evolving, and the successful candidate will also support the wider operation at CLC as needed, so flexibility is important.

The main responsibilities include:

• Receiving and sorting deliveries
• Using forklifts & driving delivery vehicles
• Assisting with counter service within the T2B stores
• Processing paperwork accurately for reordering parts
• Supporting stores control with admin duties and stock transfer requests
• Ensuring safe and proper storage of materials
• Completing warehouse admin activities within a team
• Following written and oral instructions; receiving direction on duties
• Conducting weekly inventory checks of security consumables in the security stores
• Maintaining housekeeping of all areas at CLC and T2B
• Participating in emergency call-out rosters (1 in 4)
• Performing additional duties as requested by management

About You

Wilson James seeks candidates with at least 2 years of warehouse/airport experience. The successful applicant must have prior customer service experience, be flexible, and possess good organizational skills. The following skills and experience are also required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks, including bending, stretching, stooping, reaching, and lifting, in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Previous warehouse and stock control experience
• Accurate counting and basic math skills
• Forklift/Pallet truck license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to produce clear verbal and written reports
• Ability to secure an airside pass
• Full UK manual driving license with no more than 3 penalty points
