Job summary

The Best Connection Swindon is recruiting a Driver's Mate / Assembly Operative in Swindon. You will help the driver with delivery, assembly and installation of a wide range of products at customer premises, delivering a high standard of white glove service.

Ideal candidates have assembly or installation experience, enjoy customer interaction and take pride in delivering outstanding service. The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, paying £12.71 per hour.

• Experience handling deliveries and assembling products at customer premises.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with the safe loading and unloading of products.
• Deliver goods to customer's homes and business premises in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assemble a variety of products using hand tools, following assembly instructions where required.
• Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
• Experience delivering and assembling products in customer's homes or commercial premises.
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge of manual handling procedures.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, professional Driver's Mate / Assembly Operative to join our client's growing delivery team. This role involves assisting the driver with the delivery, assembly, and installation of a wide range of products at customer premises while providing an exceptional white glove delivery service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or installation experience who enjoys customer interaction and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
