A local council in Uxbridge is seeking part-time Drivers/Programme Delivery Workers to support the youth outreach programs. Ideal candidates should have experience working with children and a full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement. Responsibilities include driving to various locations and delivering youth services. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to positively impact young people's lives.
We are offering two part-time positions (18 hours per week) for Drivers/Programme Delivery Worker within the Universal Offer in the Hillingdon Youth Offer. These roles are vital to the delivery of our detached and outreach work across the borough.
The successful candidates will join our Detached and Outreach Team, supporting the expansion of our Universal Offer for children and young people.
The ideal candidates will have a positive, holistic, and empowering approach to service delivery. We are looking for individuals with proven experience and competence in driving and working with children and young people, either in formal or informal education or community settings. A deep understanding of the challenges children and young people face today is essential, along with a creative and dynamic approach to engaging hard-to-reach and vulnerable groups.
A full UK driving licence with a D1 entitlement or above is required. Training will be provided as part of the induction process. A willingness to learn and a commitment to supporting children and young people is essential.
