Job summary

Fatto a Mano Central Production Kitchen is seeking a Driver & Prep Chef in the UK to join our hands-on team. The role combines food preparation with delivering ingredients and menu items between our central kitchen and three Brighton & Hove pizzerias.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in a professional food preparation environment.
• Reliable, punctual and organised with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Delivery responsibilities: Driving between the Central Production Kitchen and three Brighton & Hove pizzerias; loading, delivering and unloading items; ensuring deliveries are on time and accurate; safe handling of products; clear communication with teams.
• Food preparation responsibilities: Preparing ingredients and menu items to recipes and standards; assisting with stock rotation and organisation; keeping areas clean and safe; following all hygiene and safety procedures; supporting the wider Central Production Kitchen team.

Fatto a Mano is an independent, growing pizzeria group serving proper Neapolitan pizza across Brighton & Hove and London. Great food, positive energy and strong teams are at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Driver & Prep Chef to join our Central Production Kitchen team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining food preparation with delivering ingredients and menu items between our Central Production Kitchen and our three Brighton & Hove pizzerias.

What you'll be doing

Delivery responsibilities:

• Driving between our Central Production Kitchen and three Brighton & Hove pizzerias
• Loading, delivering and unloading ingredients and menu items
• Checking that every delivery is accurate, complete and made on time
• Transporting all products safely and with care
• Communicating clearly with the Central Production Kitchen and pizzeria teams

Food Preparation responsibilities:

• Preparing ingredients and menu items to our recipes and standards
• Supporting with stock rotation and organisation
• Keeping preparation, storage and delivery areas clean and organised
• Following all food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider Central Production Kitchen team when needed
