We’re expanding the team at Just Clear due to ongoing growth and increasing demand. If you’re looking for a hands‑on role where no two days are the same, you’ll enjoy working with a company that values your contribution, offers regular overtime, and supports you with full training. With a competitive hourly rate aligned to the Real Living Wage, progression opportunities, and standard working hours with paid overtime at an increased rate, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long‑term career in a people‑first business.

About Just Clear

Just Clear is a multi‑award‑winning house and business clearance company, recognised for its ethical, environmentally responsible approach to removals and reuse. Whether supporting families through bereavement clearances or helping businesses relocate or declutter, our team brings care, respect and professionalism to every job. We operate across Edinburgh, Falkirk and Glasgow, and we’re growing quickly – which is why we’re now looking for another reliable, hard‑working Driver / Porter to join our crew.

The Role

You’ll be working in a 2‑person team carrying out both residential and commercial clearances. This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. One day you might be clearing a home with high‑value items, the next you could be assisting with a sensitive bereavement clearance. It’s a varied, rewarding and often meaningful role.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Driving company vans to and from jobs. We are also looking for a Porter, so if you don’t drive but still interested – please do apply.
  • Loading and unloading furniture, white goods, and other bulky items safely
  • Assisting with clearances, packing, dismantling and general on‑site organisation
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with customers – including in sensitive situations
  • Coordinating with your teammate to complete jobs efficiently and on time
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any issues promptly
  • Supporting safe waste disposal and responsible recycling at registered centres
  • Occasionally assisting with light warehouse duties
What We’re Looking For
  • A full, UK driving licence for driver (up to 6 points accepted)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • A reliable, team‑focused attitude with a good sense of humour
  • Previous experience in removals, manual handling, delivery driving, warehousing or clearance work
  • Strong communication skills – especially when working in sensitive environments
  • Comfortable working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with paid overtime when needed
What You’ll Get
  • A position with a growing, stable business that truly values its staff
  • Competitive hourly rate aligned to the Real Living Wage
  • Paid overtime at 1.5x hourly rate
  • Full training and support provided
  • No shift work – standard Monday to Friday hours
  • A chance to make a difference with eco‑friendly, socially responsible work
  • Friendly, down‑to‑earth team with a supportive culture
Location

Field‑based role with regular routes across Edinburgh, Falkirk, and Glasgow
