A leading trade merchant is seeking a full-time LGV Driver (C1) in Sheffield. You'll be responsible for multi-drop deliveries and maintaining strong customer relationships. Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (Cat C) required.
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC) is essential.
• Digital Tachograph Card must be obtained.
• Experience with lorry loaders preferred.
• Basic vehicle knowledge needed for defect checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5T vehicle for multi-drop deliveries.
• Complete 10 - 20 deliveries daily to various sites.
• Handle heavy stock during deliveries.
• Build relationships with customers through service.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed.

As a LGV Driver (C1) based in Sheffield (S2 4BA) you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle completing multi drop deliveries generally within an hours distance from the branch

• Completing between 10 - 20 deliveries daily mainly to new build sites but also residential addresses

• Manual handling heavy stock i.e. toilets, sinks, boilers and radiators

• Building strong relationships with customers during site deliveries and providing outstanding customer service

• Helping in the warehouse with goods in, picking/packing and loading the vehicles for deliveries the next day

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 06.30am - 3.30pm.
