Job summary

Air Liquide UK is seeking a disciplined Driver to join the Energas team in Stratford, London. You will operate heavy goods vehicles, deliver cylinders safely and legally, and support the supply chain with reliable service to customer sites and depots.

The role requires an LGV C licence with CPC, multi-drop delivery experience, good health, numeracy and literacy skills, and a willingness to undergo a company medical if requested. A valid FLT licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• LGV C (HGV 2) licence with a valid Driver’s CPC card.
• Proven multi-drop delivery experience.
• Good health and fitness for manual handling of cylinders.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills for logging and reporting.
• FLT licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality multi-drop delivery services to customer sites and depots on schedule.
• Maintain load and vehicle security, ensure safety equipment is serviceable per ADR.
• Keep vehicle clean and well maintained.
• Manage daily documentation such as tachograph charts and fuel mileage, complying with WTD.
• Obtain signatures, collect payments when required, and uphold customer service standards.

Air Liquide is currently searching for a dedicated Driver to join our Energas team in Stratford, London.

In this role, your primary mission is to operate our heavy goods vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently. You will play a pivotal part in our supply chain, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and of company cylinders/cylinder packs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Execute high-quality multi-drop delivery services, ensuring products reach customer sites and company depots on schedule.
• Maintain full responsibility for load and vehicle security, ensuring all mechanical and safety equipment is in working order in line with ADR standards.
• Ensuring your assigned vehicle is kept clean, and being responsible for its upkeep.
• Manage essential daily documentation, including advice notes, tachograph charts, and fuel mileage, while ensuring all work hours align with WTD regulations.
• Obtaining signatures, collecting payments when required, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Prioritise the well‑being of staff, customers, and the public by strictly adhering to our Health and Environment policies and our 12 Life‑Saving Rules.

We are looking for a disciplined driver with great customer service skills and a commitment to safety.

You will also need:

• A minimum LGV C (HGV 2) license with a full, clean driving record and a valid Driver’s CPC Card.
• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and a strong geographical knowledge of the local and regional areas.
• A good standard of health and fitness is required for the manual handling of cylinders, and you must be willing to undergo a company medical if requested.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills are required for accurate logging and reporting.
• FLT Licence an advantage but not essential.
