Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Delivery Driver / General Operative in Wolverhampton. The role is client facing and requires good interpersonal skills and excellent customer service.

The position starts immediately on a temporary basis with potential to become permanent. Key duties include loading the van, delivering to local companies, planning routes, and maintaining the vehicle, along with general shop floor tasks such as machine operation and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Delivery driver duties: Use of the company van SWB, delivery to local companies, prep and load the vehicle, plan the route, deliver excellent customer service on site, maintain the vehicle and keep it clean.
• General operative duties on the shop floor: general maintenance around the facility, machine operating, machine minding.

Delivery Driver/General Operative

We are recruiting a delivery driver/general operative to join our client in Wolverhampton. The role is client facing and you will need to have good interpersonal skills and excellent customer services.

Duties of a delivery driver/general operative

• Use of the company van SWB
• Deliver to local companies on occasion
• Prep and load the vehicle
• Plan the route
• Deliver excellent customer service when on customer sites
• Maintain the vehicle and ensure clean and tidy.

General operative duties on the shop floor

• General maintenance round the facility
• Machine operating
• Machine minding
