Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Driver Dray to carry out safe, reliable multi-drop deliveries to our pubs. You’ll load, transport and unload goods, ensuring accuracy and delivering friendly, professional service at every doorstep.

This hands-on role combines driving and customer-facing duties, with opportunities to develop within Greene King’s pub network. A clean UK driving licence, Digi Tacho, and Driver CPC are essential. Join us and be part of a team that keeps Britain’s pubs thriving.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean, current UK Class C driving licence.
• Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card.
• Must have a valid Driver CPC.
• Experience in multi-drop delivery or customer-facing driving is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport and unload goods to pub sites.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries with a friendly, professional, customer-focused service.
• Accurately check goods and deliveries to ensure correct destinations.
• Handle products safely and perform manual handling when required.
• Build positive relationships with pub teams and be an ambassador for Greene King.
• Follow all relevant legislation, health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver great service and achieve KPIs.
• Help keep pubs stocked and ready for customers.

What's the opportunity?

As a Driver Dray, you’ll be responsible for making safe, reliable and efficient multi-drop deliveries to our pubs.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and enjoys being out on the road and meeting people.

You’ll ideally have:

• A clean, current UK Class C driving licence as a minimum.
• A valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card.
• A valid Driver CPC.
• Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery or customer-facing driving role is desirable.
• A genuine commitment to providing great customer service.
• The fitness and ability to carry out the physical and manual elements of the role safely.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
• The ability to work independently while also being a great team player.
• A reliable, self-motivated and positive attitude.
