Job summary

Motorclean Ltd is seeking a Driver/Valeter at our busy car rental site in Uckfield. You will collect and deliver vehicles, clean them inside and out, and use a jet wash for exterior cleaning. A safety checklist will be completed for each vehicle, and teamwork is essential to ensure all cars are ready for customers.

The role requires a valid driving licence, driving experience, and the right to work in the UK. You must be 21+ and have a personal UK bank account.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence and driving experience.
• Must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must have a personal UK bank account in their own name.
• Experience in cleaning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver vehicles from customers.
• Clean all vehicles inside and out, using jet washer for exterior cleaning.
• Dry exterior, minimising water marks, and vacuuming the interior.
• Carry out a safety checklist for each vehicle.
• Maintain politeness and helpfulness with customers at pickups.
• Work well in a team of valeters to ensure timely delivery.

Job description

Driver/Valeter required at a busy car rental site base in Uckfield.

Motorclean provide services to Car dealerships and Rental companies across the UK. The purpose of this role is to ensure that ALL rental vehicles are made clean and safe between customers using them.

Hours:Mon-Fri 08:00-18:00 & Sat 08:00-13:00

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Requirements:

• Experienced driver with Full Driving Licence
• Must be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)
• Must have the Right to work in UK
• Must have Valid Personal UK Bank Account in your own name
• Experience in cleaning

The Role:

• Collect and deliver vehicles from customers
• Clean all vehicles inside and out
• Use Jet washer to clean vehicle exterior
• Dry vehicle exterior, ensuring water marks are minimal
• Vacuum Vehicle Interior
• Carry out a safety checklist for each vehicle
• Always be polite and helpful when dealing with customers at pickups
• Work well in a team of valeters to get all vehicles cleaned and delivered.
