Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Edinburgh is seeking a Delivery Driver (3.5 ton) to join a busy, customer‑facing team delivering hire equipment around the local area. You will drive a 3.5t flatbed van with trailer and be the face of our business.

Flexible hours include Mon-Fri, 07:30–17:00, 42 hours per week with work/life balance. We offer 26 days holiday, life assurance, pension, canteen, discounts, training and a supportive environment focused on People First.

Qualifications

• Driving licence with towing ability required.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong customer focus is essential.
• Experience driving within the UK is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van with trailer to deliver hire equipment locally.
• Be the face of Speedy, representing the brand and values in daily interactions.
• Ensure safe, efficient delivery operations and maintain good customer service.

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times -07:30 - 17:00, 42 hours per week

Salary £29,572 Per annum, pro rata

Based in Location, the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van with trailer, delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What You’ll Need

• Driving licence with towing ability
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
