Job summary

Speedy Hire in the UK is seeking a Delivery Driver (3.5 ton) based in Bury St Edmunds. The role involves driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van to deliver hire equipment around the local area, with early start times and a commitment to customer service.

Flexible hours, including job shares and amended hours, with a focus on work-life balance; Mon-Fri and two weekends every 4 weeks. Training and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Eligible to complete NWR medical.
• Hold a PTS.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong customer focus.
• Experience driving within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van to deliver hire equipment around the local area.
• Be the face of Speedy Hire and represent the company’s values.
• Support your business unit to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times - 07:00 - 16:00, 42 hours per week - must work 2 weekends of 4 paid additionally

You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van, delivering hire equipment around the local area.This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What You’ll Need

• Driving licence
• Eligible to complete NWR medical
• Hold a PTS
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
