Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking Customer Service Team Members to deliver quality groceries on time while providing friendly, helpful service. You will be out on the road, with our route planning and pre-loaded vans, in a role that emphasizes safety and customer satisfaction.

The position includes evenings and weekends with premiums that boost hourly earnings, paid breaks, and opportunities for progression within the company. Training is provided, and a UK/EU driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Must hold a Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points; no disqualifications in past 5 years.
• Must be over 18 to handle alcohol deliveries.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods on time and in an efficient manner.
• Work 5 days out of 7 (40 hours including paid breaks).
• Shifts include evenings and weekends; you will know your rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

In return, we use our automated technology to pre plan your route and pre-load your van!

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays - so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £14.21 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions!

So what do we need from you?

You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Type:Permanent

Contract Hours:40 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted days:You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 working 8 hour shifts, and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.

Shifts:AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure:This position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
