Job description

We are recruiting for a Cleaner / Driver to join a leading organisation within the aviation and engineering sector based at a prestigious site near Oxford. This is a hands‑on position within a busy operational environment, supporting both the engineering and facilities teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery and collection of engineering equipment, tools, and stock items within the UK
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Assist with general site tidiness, including apron areas and external entrances
• Maintain cleanliness across hangar areas, including floors, washrooms, and changing rooms
• Remove non‑toxic waste and debris to ensure a safe working environment (preventing FOD incidents)
• Use floor‑cleaning and polishing equipment (training provided)

Skills and Experience Required

• Full, clean UK driving licence (Class 2 preferred)
• Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, or a similar operational support role
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and security procedures
• Confident using cleaning machinery (training available)
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
