About The Role

We're looking for someone to support with transport needs for our residential service based in Slamannan, Falkirk.

Due to the location of our home, we require a driver to assist with transporting staff to and from the premises at designated start and finish times. Weekend availability will also be essential.

Job title: Driver

Hours: Part-time, variable

Location: Slamannan, Falkirk

The role of Driver is an opportunity for a pro‑active person to join an evolving Care Company. We are looking for dedicated and empathetic people. The driver will be available to take staff to and from the premises, at set times.

Responsibilities
  • Transport support staff to and from the workplace in a safe and timely manner.
  • To maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with our care team staff.
  • To adhere to Swanton Care and Community policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of staff travelling in your vehicles. Attend supervisions, training and staff meetings, as required. Ensure all company paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Contact the on‑call manager to express any concerns in relation to the role.

About The Service

Southfields House is an 8‑person service on the outskirts of a small village called Slamannan, nestled in the Falkirk County countryside. We provide support for young people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs including challenging behaviour.
