A leading logistics company in the United Kingdom is seeking Customer Service Team Members (delivery drivers) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. The role involves driving, managing loads, and excellent communication with customers. Ideal candidates will have a full UK driving licence and at least 6 months of driving experience. We’re looking for Customer Service Team Members (delivery drivers) who will play a vital role in delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner.
You’ll be out on the road in all weather conditions, delivering groceries and other goods to customers, following a pre‑planned route provided by our automated technology, and ensuring each delivery is made on time and to a high standard. You will also manage your own load, keep track of breaks, and uphold a safe working environment at all times.
Contract type: Permanent. Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks). Days: Any 5 days out of 7 working 8‑hour shifts. Shifts: AM & PM – start as early as 05:30 am or finish as late as 12:00 am (midnight); shift rota is released up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay structure: The position is paid lunar (every 4 weeks) according to a monthly schedule.
Hourly pay rates – Basic rate (Mon‑Sat): £13.37; Evening premium (from 6 pm): £1.12; Sunday day premium: £1.34; Sunday evening premium: £2.57; Overtime rates (Mon‑Sat day shift): £16.71; Overtime rates (Mon‑Sat evening shift): £18.11.
