Initial Medical Driver

We are currently seeking a Driver to join our dedicated team at the Thetford branch, covering Cambridge and the surrounding areas. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Base Pay Range

• Basic salary: £25,817 per annum
• Expected OTE: £27,817 per annum, with bonus and commission schemes available
• Benefits: Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, uniform, and RI Rewards
• Relocation Package: Moved from more than 2 hours away? Up to £5,000 to help you settle in
• Work‑Life Balance: Full‑time, Permanent, Monday to Friday (40 hr week)

Responsibilities

• Visit various customer sites to collect and dispose of hazardous waste items such as sharp bins, poisons, dental waste and other types of waste
• Ensure vehicle safety and comply with RI Drive Smart guidance
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold a professional image at all times

Driver Requirements

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
• Comfortable working in a very manual role, loading and unloading units and bins
• ADR certificate would be great but is not essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude and initiative
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role applied for
