Job summary

TXM Recruit are looking for skilled MIG/TIG Welders to carry out works on commercial vehicles for a key transportation client in Oxfordshire. Based in Bicester, this temp role offers 38 hours per week with shift rotation.

You will weld on mild steel, read engineering drawings, and ensure assemblies meet quality and safety standards on driveline chassis. 15 minutes paid break + 30 minute unpaid break. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as MIG/TIG welder on mild steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Capable of following verbal instructions and meeting quality standards.
• Work on a driveline chassis with safety-critical components.

Responsibilities

• MIG/TIG welder on mild steel components.
• Fabrication of bracketry, assemblies and safety-critical parts.
• Interpret complex parts drawings and ensure production timings.
• Maintain safety and quality during production.
