Job summary

Corvedale Equestrian is seeking a reliable Yard Groom for a Level 3 Senior Equine apprenticeship. The role is based at The Village, Chaddesley Corbett in Worcestershire and involves hands-on learning on a busy dressage yard with around 45 horses.

The apprenticeship runs for 1 year 6 months, with an initial wage of £12,480 in the first year and potential increases. Hours are 30 per week, starting around 7:30am, with a flexible rota based on shows and yard needs.

Qualifications

• GCSE in English (4+).
• GCSE in Maths (4+).
• Experience with horses and stable yard duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Feeding and hay net filling, water bucket management.
• Grooming, tack cleaning and horse handling.
• Turning in and out horses; assisting farrier and vet as needed.
• Bathing, show prep, and basic horse welfare duties.
• Liaising with yard staff to maintain safe working practices.
