A leading equestrian training provider in the United Kingdom is offering a full-time Equestrian Apprenticeship. This role includes general horse care, preparing for competitions, and riding at shows. Ideal for those preferring on-the-job learning with training provided by experienced riders. Accommodation in a shared cottage is included, and candidates should have strong riding abilities, especially in Dressage/Eventing. Driving license is advantageous, and the position requires a big heart for horses and quick thinking.
EQUESTRIAN APPRENTICESHIP (Level 2 or 3) - Are you looking to achieve your qualifications but don’t feel the classroom is for you? We will soon have a vacancy for a full time apprentice at St Giles Dressage. New built facilities (indoor, outdoor arena, hacking). The role will includes general horse care including mucking out, grooming, preparing horses for competitions, tack cleaning, and exercising (this is dependent on riding ability- for competing out youngsters you need a competition record at Medium level at least. The opportunity to ride at shows and training days. Applicants must be confident handling fit competition horses and young stock (most horses are over 16.2hh). Riding training given if riding capabilities are above BD medium. All training will be provided with Haddon Training on site, so this would suit someone who would prefer to learn on the job rather than in a classroom. Riding lessons by GP trainer.
