Draughtsman / CAD Technician

Location: Doncaster (DN4)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (some flexibility)

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We're looking for an experienced Draughtsman to join our growing Design and Manufacturing team. This role involves producing accurate and detailed drawings for both construction and fabrication, working closely with our in-house production and site teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing detailed and layout drawings using AutoCAD LT for architectural approval and construction.
• Producing manufacturing drawings and issuing production orders for internal fabrication.
• Working with site teams to address any on-site challenges and update drawings to reflect final site dimensions.
• Completing material take-offs and producing bill pages for tender and procurement purposes.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience using AutoCAD LT.
• Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing, including creating flat patterns for laser cutting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
• Keen eye for detail and a practical, hands‑on approach to design.
