Job summary

TKAT is seeking a dynamic Drama Teacher for a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover starting January 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and developing GCSE readiness within our vibrant Performing Arts Department.

We welcome ECTs or experienced practitioners, offer tailored mentoring, CPD, and a supportive team committed to high standards, wellbeing, and progression opportunities within the TKAT network.

Qualifications

• Evidence of consistently 'good' or better classroom teaching.
• Experience in or enthusiasm for working with students with SEN, using inclusive learning approaches.
• Supportive, team-oriented mindset with high expectations for student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3–KS4, preparing students for GCSE.
• Foster inclusive learning and raise achievement for all ability levels.
