An outstanding school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a passionate and committed Drama Teacher to join their successful and innovative Arts department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drama and be able to inspire and engage students at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality Drama lessons to students in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
  • Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and departmental policies.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Monitoring and assessing students' progress and providing feedback to students and parents/carers.
  • Participating in extra-curricular activities and school events.
  • Contributing to the development of the school's Drama curriculum and extra-curricular programme.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Drama or a related subject.
  • Experience of teaching Drama at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • A strong track record of raising attainment and progress for students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
  • A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to the development of Drama within the school.
