Class Education is seeking a Drama Teacher for maternity cover in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The role covers KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 depending on timetable. Start December 2026 / January 2027, with a competitive salary (£34,069 - £52,835) and strong professional development.

Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £34,069 - £52,835 per annum (M1 to UPS3)

Start Date: December 2026 / January 2027

A highly successful secondary school in Stevenage is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join its thriving Performing Arts Department on a full-time maternity cover contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who is passionate about Drama and committed to inspiring young people through creativity, performance and academic excellence. The successful candidate will teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and timetable requirements.
