Job summary

Hays Construction and Property in Hampshire is recruiting an Infrastructure & Design Engineer to design and deliver drainage and flood risk schemes. The role covers concept to detail design, working with clients and internal teams to produce high-quality outputs.

You will develop Civil 3D models, perform hydraulic assessments, and support junior engineers while liaising with regulatory stakeholders on a portfolio of projects in a hybrid Winchester-based setup.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Experience delivering drainage, flood risk and civil infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in drainage design software and standard outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design drainage and flood water management schemes for infrastructure projects.
• Produce detailed civil designs, drawings, calculations and reports.
• Develop Civil 3D models and design documentation.
• Carry out hydraulic and drainage assessments to support delivery.
• Prepare contract and technical documentation for construction.
• Support, mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulators.
