Job summary

Able Group is seeking drainage engineers to join our fast-paced team on a self-employed/contracting basis. You will cover reactive work, have access to varied domestic and commercial sites, and be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Applicants should hold a high pressure water jetting certificate and be able to clear blockages with professional reporting. A CCTV capability is advantageous, and owning your own vehicle is a key requirement.

Qualifications

• Valid high pressure water jetting association certificate.
• Confident in clearing blockages and offering further solutions to rectify broken/damaged pipework.
• Desirable CCTV equipment with accompanied reports.
• Willing to cover emergency/time-sensitive works, including evenings and weekends.
• Have access to own works vehicle to travel to sites.
• Act in a polite and professional manner.
• Experience with CCTV and cleaning of new drainage lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive drainage work as part of a fast-paced team.
• Provide solutions and problem-solving for drainage issues.
• Attend site emergencies outside normal hours as required.
• Liaise with estate agents and property managers on job requirements.
• Complete site paperwork and scheduling via Able Group processes.

Due to high demand Able Group are currently looking for drainage engineers to join our fast-paced working team to cover reactive work for us on a self-employed/contracting basis. Whether you want to top-up your current earnings around your existing workload or find a new revenue stream entirely.

You will need to:

• Have a valid high pressure water jetting association certificate


• Be confident in clearing blockages and offering further solutions to rectify broken/damage pipework


• Desirable to have CCTV equipment with accompanied reports


• Be willing to cover emergency/time-sensitive works, during normal working hours as well as evenings and weekends


• Have access to your own works vehicle to travel to and from job


• Act in a polite and professional manner


• Not only do we operate a service for domestic customers, but we also work closely with Estate Agents, Housing Associations and Facility/Property Management, for their everyday property maintenance needs, - This may include carrying out CCTV and cleaning of new drainage lines which have been laid
