A leading drainage services company in the UK is seeking a Portareel Drainage Engineer to join their Utility Division. You will work on wastewater network problems, ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate is hardworking and enjoys outdoor work. Ryemeads Sewage Treatment Works, Home Counties North Region (Ware, Hertfordshire)
Permanent full‑time
Monday to Friday – 50 hours (3 weeks of days, 1 week of nights)
OTE 37,000 per annum (includes overtime night‑shift allowances and any bonuses)
21 days holiday (plus bank holidays); health cash plan; onsite parking; auto‑enrolment pension scheme; friendly working environment.

FULL TRAINING GIVEN – Great Opportunity
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, respectful and compliant with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of high‑pressure jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
