Blockaid LTD in Stockport is seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer with a valid Class 2 HGV licence to join our team. The role covers drainage maintenance, inspections, repairs and CCTV surveys across domestic and commercial sites, with hands-on work and collaboration with the engineering team.

You will work on-site at Bredbury, carrying out wide-ranging drainage tasks and ensuring high safety standards, accuracy in records, and responsive customer service across contracts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 / Category C HGV licence.
• Experience maintaining, inspecting and repairing drainage systems.
• Experience carrying out CCTV drainage surveys is required.
• Good mechanical knowledge with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Confident in carrying out vehicle checks and operating commercial drainage vehicles safely.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and assess existing drainage systems and identify defects or areas requiring improvement.
• Carry out maintenance and repair work on domestic and commercial drainage systems.
• Complete maintenance checks across various customer contracts.
• Troubleshoot drainage problems and implement effective solutions.
• Carry out CCTV drainage surveys where required.
• Use hand tools and power tools for drainage installation, repair and maintenance work.
• Read and understand drainage plans and specifications.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors and other site personnel to ensure work is completed correctly.
