Job summary

AWD Recruitment is urgently seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to service domestic and commercial properties across Oxfordshire. You will operate jetting gear, CCTV surveys and patch lining, diagnose and repair drainage systems, and deliver exceptional customer service with high workmanship standards.

The role offers a fully equipped company van, health and safety gear, a pension, and ongoing training with strong career progression. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating high‑pressure van pack jetting equipment.
• Experience using push‑rod CCTV drain camera systems.
• Experience with drain patch lining and basic no‑dig repair techniques.
• Experience operating electro‑mechanical cleaning machines and other industry‑standard drainage equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, clear and clean internal and external drainage systems.
• Ability to work safely and professionally in domestic and commercial environments.
• Excellent customer service skills and a high standard of workmanship.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and reliable, honest, professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑pressure van pack jetting equipment, push‑rod CCTV drain camera systems, electro‑mechanical cleaning machines and other industry‑standard drainage equipment.
• Carry out drain patch lining and basic no‑dig repair techniques.
• Diagnose, clear and clean internal and external drainage systems.
• Work safely and professionally in domestic and commercial environments.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship.
• Work independently and as part of a wider professional team.
• Participate in the emergency call‑out rota.
