Job summary

A leading drainage maintenance provider in Sheffield is seeking a Drainage Technician. The role entails performing a variety of drainage services, maintaining high customer service standards and technical expertise. Ideal candidates will have essential drainage experience, be skilled in high pressure water jetting, hold a full UK driving licence, and possess a CSCS certification. Qualifications

  • Experience in drainage is essential.
  • High pressure water jetting experience is required.
  • CSCS certification is necessary.
  • Experience with CCTV surveys and lining is an advantage.
  • Candidate must have a positive, flexible can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to work occasional and unsociable hours is required.
  • Full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • To carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer's drains
  • To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
  • To ensure you work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures
  • To maintain your branded company service vehicle and equipment to the highest standards
  • Accurately record work / job details via a range of bespoke internal / client systems and applications
  • Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
  • Commitment to working for a 24/7 and 365 service provider – this may involve participation in on call rotas or occasional unsociable hours
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in Drainage essential
  • High pressure water jetting experience
  • CSCS
  • Have experience with CCTV Surveys and Lining an advantage
  • Will have a positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
