AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Drainage Design Specialist to join our national teams across the UK. You will lead drainage design on highway, rail and development projects, including SuDS, and support business development and client relationships.
The role emphasizes delivering high-quality technical outcomes, promoting digital methods, and mentoring graduates and technicians within a collaborative, hybrid-working environment across the UK.
AtkinsRéalis provides drainage design services to the Highway, Rail, Private Developer, Energy and Water markets with key clients such as HS2, Highways England and Network Rail, along with many of the UK's water companies. Due to practice expansion, we require a Drainage Design Specialist to join our teams operating from across the UK. We are looking for a strong collaborator, capable of supporting teams and delivering on remote projects as part of our national Practice.
The role will have key responsibilities relating to business performance, business resilience and technical reputation, contributing to the implementation of business strategy.
The successful candidate shall demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the drainage sector, excellent technical skills and have a proven track record of business development, client management, project management and line management. You will be required to undertake a key role in the design of drainage infrastructure, transportation and private developer projects with emphasis on highway drainage and development drainage including SuDS. As well, delivering the drainage design, you will support the leadership and development of our drainage design capability.
