Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a DQR inspector at our Titchfield site to perform source inspection and release shipments according to customer requirements. The role emphasizes a safe 5S environment and continuous improvement aligned with Eaton standards.

The ideal candidate has aerospace inspection experience, reads drawings, and can maintain detailed records in Excel/Word. Some responsibilities may extend to other areas to meet business demand, ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Aerospace industry experience required.
• Inspection experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform source inspection and release product shipment per customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and apply 5S at the site.
• Drive continuous improvement as defined by Eaton standards.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Provide inspection cover in other areas when needed.
• Inspect and measure parts to conformance to drawings and purchase orders.
• Support quality investigations across departments.
• Conduct First Article reports and monitor SPC data (preferred).
• Investigate non-conformances as necessary.
• Operate and coordinate measurement machines or inspection equipment (preferred).
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Keep detailed records using Excel & Word.
• Liaise with the customer when required to support on-time delivery and address issues.

What you’ll do:

1. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an DQR inspector at our Titchfield site.


2. To perform source inspection and release product shipment on behalf of Customers and their requirements.


3. Maintains a safe working environment and adopts a 5S approach to working.


4. Drives and sustains and attitude to continuous improvement as defined by Eaton standards.


5. Always maintains a high standard of housekeeping as defined by the Eaton standards.


6. Provide inspection cover in other areas if business demand is necessary.


7. Inspection and measurement of parts to ensure conformance to drawing and purchase order requirements, working within the parameters as laid down in procedures and work instructions.


8. Support all departments assisting with quality related investigations upon request.


9. Ability to conduct First Article reports and monitor the production of statistical process control data - preferred.


10. Perform and assist in investigations into non-conformance if necessary.


11. Operate, co-ordinate measurement machines and/or specialized inspection equipment – preferred.


12. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.


13. Ability to keep detailed records using Microsoft software such as Excel & Word


14. Competent and willing to learn to navigate customer portals and undergo external customer specific training.


15. Willing to liaise with the customer when required, to support OTD and to deal with issues that may arise.
