A local support service in Lampeter is looking for a Personal Assistant for an 11-year-old with ADHD and Autism. The role requires patience and understanding, helping to support the child's activities and social interactions. This position is predominantly during weekends with flexible hours in school holidays, offering £13.50 per hour. I am a 11-year-old who needs some help please. I have ADHD and a working diagnosis of Autism – the applicant would therefore need to have knowledge or experience in these areas. I am well behaved, and my peers say I am nice and friendly.
This role is for weekends as I am too tired after school. Maybe in the school holidays we can do things as well. I would prefer a man if possible.
This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of an individual employer. You will be employed by that individual and not Ceredigion County Council. The appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check at no cost to the applicant. If requested, two satisfactory references must be provided. There is a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months. Wages are paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid National Insurance number is provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement. You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement and other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when employment commences. Mandatory training may be required and costs may be met through Direct Payments.
