Job summary

Trainline’s Backend teams build the core of Trainline’s world class product, delivering journey search, the eCommerce platform and integrations with 270 travel operators across 45 countries. As a mid level .NET Engineer you will own features end-to-end, mentor teammates and contribute to technical decisions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll work with C# (.NET 6–10), AWS, Docker and CI/CD while focusing on quality, performance and reliability for high-volume transactional

Qualifications

• Hands-on with C# .NET and the latest features.
• Experience in Agile development practices.
• Experience with high-volume transactional applications.
• Experience with asynchronous service/processing.
• Ability to test solutions effectively.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new functionality or features using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure quality is at the heart of the team’s work.
• Continuously improve the code base.
• Maintain customer focus in all delivery decisions.
• Identify and remove blockers, bottlenecks and waste.
• Contribute to architectural decisions.
• Coach and mentor others in the team.
• Own the development lifecycle from code to production, including deployment and monitoring.
