Job summary

Vespasian Security Ltd in Ipswich is seeking fun, friendly, customer-focused Door Supervisors to join our winter light trail. Shifts run 15:30–21:00, with bank holidays over Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve. This is a part-time, zero-hour role with no guaranteed hours.

Job description

We are looking for fun, friendly, customer-focused team members to join our light trails this winter. This position is based in Ipswich, and you must be able to make your own way to the shifts. Shifts will also be available on bank holidays over Christmas, boxing day and New Year's Eve. As a Door Supervisor you will be looking after the front gates, bars, providing directional advice and providing a friendly presence. The shift times are15:30 - 21:00 each day. The trail begins 20th November 2026 - 3rd January 2027.

Illuminates are a magical, family friendly event that will light up Christmas this winter. This spectacular light trail will feature a variety of brand-new captivating lights & installations for 2026., Vespasian Security Ltd began as a family run company in 2006, growing into a multi-award nominated company with over 1000 employees. This position is a zero-hour contract and we cannot guarantee hours. Progression is available! Our sister company, Broadside Training, offers SIA Door Supervisor training courses regularly.

Salary

• Minimum of £13.00 per hour (£14.57 p/h once holiday is claimed)
