Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bristol for industrial door engineer. The engineer will be responsible for conducting day-to-day tasks such as repairing, maintaining, and installing industrial doors, automated gates, barriers, as well as loading bay equipment and access control systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all work is fully compliant with current industry standards. The engineer will also provide 24/7 emergency support when required, and work closely with both local and national businesses to deliver reliable and professional service.

Qualifications
  • Experience in repairing, maintaining, and installing industrial doors, automated gates, and barriers
  • Skills in diagnosing technical issues and performing preventative maintenance
  • Knowledge of access control systems and loading bay equipment
  • Safety and compliance expertise in line with industry standards (DHF, ADSA, SafeContractor, CHAS, Constructionline Gold)
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • NVQ qualification and safety certifications in related fields
  • Ability to provide 24/7 emergency support and work under pressure
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience with preventative maintenance plans is beneficial
