Job summary

Salvation Army Trading Company is seeking a reliable driver to collect from clothing banks and deliver to our charity shops across the local area. This is a permanent, full-time role with a 40-hour week, typically Monday to Saturday, and opportunities for overtime.

You will hold a full driving licence, be comfortable with manual handling of clothing donations, and operate in sometimes challenging conditions. You will work with autonomy and align with SATCoL values to support a worthy cause.

Qualifications

• Must have a full and current driving licence.
• Manual handling experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in the local area and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift and carry donated clothing.
• Commitment to the ethos and values of Salvation Army Trading Co Ltd.

Responsibilities

• Collect donations from clothing banks in the local area on a daily basis.
• Return collected items to a designated storage site and assist with deliveries to charity shops as required.
• Manage daily working hours and overtime to achieve targets.
• Ensure goods are handled safely and in line with manual handling guidelines.
