Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations of a large-scale shop and donation centre. You will handle donations, organise collections, and help deliver items to local SATCoL shops, with on-site duties and a hands-on approach.

You will assist in recruiting and training volunteers and staff, respond to customer and head office queries, and help run a repair and reuse service to reduce waste.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in day-to-day running of all areas of the business, including receiving donations and organising collections.
• Open and close the centre and contribute to recruitment and training of volunteers and staff.
• Support the repair and reuse service to divert goods from landfill where practical.
