Service Care is seeking a VWAG Navigator for a two-week contract in Milton Keynes. You will provide guidance to clients, coordinate with local agencies, and assess needs particularly for those affected by domestic violence.

You will maintain records, ensure safety and compliance, participate in team meetings, and benefit from a training allowance and dedicated consultant as part of our support network across nationwide clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Domestic Violence support or advocacy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Knowledge of local resources for vulnerable clients.

Responsibilities

• Providing essential guidance and support to clients, ensuring they understand available services and resources.
• Collaborating with local agencies and partners to facilitate effective client pathways.
• Conducting assessments with clients, particularly those affected by domestic violence, to determine their specific needs.
• Maintaining detailed records of client interactions and progress in accordance with compliance standards.
• Ensuring all activities adhere to legal and safety protocols, prioritizing client welfare.
• Assisting clients in navigating complex pathways, empowering them towards safety and independence.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and policy changes.
