Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and support a large, diverse workforce.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet operational KPIs. Conduct audits and risk assessments, driving continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with infection control teams, senior managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Respond proactively to operational challenges and ensure excellent service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams in cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities services – preferably in healthcare.
- Operational management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and health & safety standards, particularly within healthcare settings.
- Experience managing budgets and controlling resources effectively to achieve operational KPIs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging with staff at all levels, patients, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with auditing, reporting, and risk assessment processes, with a track record of implementing improvements.
