Overview

Ensure compliance with healthcare cleanliness, infection prevention, and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, develop, and support a large, diverse workforce.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet operational KPIs. Conduct audits and risk assessments, driving continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with infection control teams, senior managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Respond proactively to operational challenges and ensure excellent service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams in cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities services – preferably in healthcare.
  • Operational management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and health & safety standards, particularly within healthcare settings.
  • Experience managing budgets and controlling resources effectively to achieve operational KPIs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging with staff at all levels, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with auditing, reporting, and risk assessment processes, with a track record of implementing improvements.
