Job summary

Ganymede Energy is recruiting an experienced Domestic Plumber to join their team. You’ll visit customers in their homes to diagnose and repair a range of plumbing issues, working largely independently with support from an established and award-winning employer.

The role includes a guaranteed first-year bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will have a Level 2 Plumbing qualification, experience with both 1st and 2nd fix plumbing, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Plumbing qualification; certificates to be provided if successful.
• Experience with both 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
• Previous experience working as a plumber in domestic properties.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good customer service skills and the confidence to deal with customers in their homes.
• A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to diagnose and repair a range of plumbing issues.
• Work independently for much of the day and provide high‑quality repairs.
• Represent the company in customers’ homes with a friendly and professional approach.
• Receive support from an experienced team and access to training and field coaching.
• There are overtime and call-out opportunities.

Domestic Plumber

£36,720 - £40,120 + £1,500 guaranteed first-year bonus / 40 hours per week / Permanent

Ganymede Energy is working with an established and growing provider of heating and maintenance services across the UK, recruiting for an experienced Domestic Plumber to join their team.

The Role

As a Domestic Plumber, you’ll visit customers in their homes to diagnose and repair a range of plumbing issues.

You’ll be working independently for much of the day, so you’ll need to be comfortable assessing problems, finding practical solutions and carrying out high‑quality repairs. Just as importantly, you’ll be representing the company in customers’ homes, so a friendly and professional approach really matters.

You’ll have the support of an experienced team around you, as well as access to dedicated training and field‑based coaching whenever you need it.

About you

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing a good job and enjoys helping customers.

You’ll ideally have:

• Level 2 qualification in Plumbing – certificates will need to be provided if successful
• Experience with both 1st and 2nd fix plumbing
