ST PHILIPS CARE LIMITED is seeking a Domestic & Laundry Assistant at The Grange Care Centre in Selby. The role supports cleaning and care for residents, maintaining homely rooms, and assisting with laundry tasks under the Care Home Manager.

The ideal candidate has a flexible approach, high standards, and an awareness of health and safety, with a commitment to excellent resident care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Clean and care for residents' rooms to be homely and tidy.
• Clean communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining areas and seating areas.
• Assist in day-to-day running of the laundry and domestic tasks.
• Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to the care home manager.

Domestic & Laundry Assistant - The Grange Care Centre

32 Hours Available.

As a part of the house keeping team you are a valued and respected part of the team. We are looking for an individual who has high attention to detail, high standards and pride in their work.

You are responsible for maintaining high standards or cleanliness throughout the home for our residents, cleaning and caring for our residents rooms and ensuring they are homely and tidy.

You are responsible for communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dinning area and seating areas.

Our Care Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Laundry Assistant to assist in the day to day running of a busy and vibrant care establishment.

You will be reporting to the Care Home Manager.

Candidates Should Have

• A flexible approach to work
• High standards and good work ethic
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Be able to use resources economically and effectively
• Beware of correct cleaning solutions and equipment for correct job
• Be aware of the responsibility to report any accidents, untoward incidents, hazards and unsafe equipment

As a Domestic and Laundry Assistant it would be desirable to have:

• Previous experience of care work in a Hospital or Care Home.
• An interest for Care of the Elderly
