Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Permanent Gas Engineer to join a well-established team in Doncaster. You will carry out domestic gas servicing and breakdown repairs across private properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service.

As a Gas Safe registered engineer, you will diagnose faults, perform safety checks, and complete necessary paperwork while complying with current regulations. A full UK driving licence is required and DBS checks may be needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Gas Safe Registration.
• Experience in domestic gas servicing and breakdowns.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Willingness to undertake a basic DBS check.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out domestic gas servicing and breakdown repairs.
• Diagnosing and fault-finding on gas heating systems and appliances.
• Completing routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Providing excellent customer service within occupied domestic properties.
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with current Gas Safe regulations.
• Completing all required paperwork and job records accurately.
• Supporting installation works when required (advantageous but not essential).
