CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Domestic Electrician for Glasgow and surrounding areas. This full-time role offers a mix of installation, maintenance, and upgrade work within residential properties and includes an on-site role with an established electrical contractor.

Essential qualifications include 18th Edition and NVQ 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation, plus a full UK driving licence. DOE salary up to £41,500 with overtime and benefits are available.

Job description

Domestic Electrician - Glasgow - Salary up to £41,500 DOE

We are currently looking for an experienced Domestic Electrician to join a growing and reputable electrical contractor working across Glasgow and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a mix of installation, maintenance, and upgrade work within residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and replacement of wiring systems in domestic properties
• Consumer unit (fuse board) upgrades and replacements
• Fault finding and carrying out repairs
• Installation of sockets, lighting, and switches
• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
• Completing relevant job reports and certification

Person Specification:

• Proven experience working as a domestic electrician
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication and customer-facing skills

• 2391 Testing & Inspection
