Job summary

Coxhead Cleaning Services Ltd is seeking a Daytime Cleaning Operative (Driver) to join our daytime operations team. The role involves driving between locations in a company vehicle and carrying out cleaning duties across multiple sites during the day.

You will work as part of a team, maintain high cleaning standards, and follow health and safety procedures. A full UK driving licence, reliability and a positive work ethic are essential; enhanced DBS may be required.

Coxhead Cleaning Services are currently recruiting for a Daytime Cleaning Operative (Driver) to join our daytime operations team.

This role involves driving between locations as part of the working day and supporting cleaning teams across a range of sites. The work is predominantly domestic, but including some commercial sites and offices.

As a Cleaning Operative (Driver), you will play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards across multiple locations. You will work as part of a team, travelling between sites in a company vehicle, and carrying out cleaning duties in line with agreed specifications.

This is a team-based role, not lone working, and requires a good level of energy, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carrying out cleaning duties across multiple sites during the daytime, ensuring all areas meet required hygiene and presentation standards
• Driving between locations as required, using company vehicles and adhering to all road safety and company driving procedures
• Supporting predominantly domestic cleaning contracts, with some commercial contracts where required
• Working efficiently as part of a team to complete tasks within agreed timeframes
• Using cleaning equipment and materials correctly and reporting any faults or shortages promptly
• Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when on client premises
• Following all company policies, cleaning specifications, and health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Must have a clear criminal record
• An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out and any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory clearance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a small team
