Job summary

Diamond Home Support is looking for experienced self-employed cleaners who would like regular domestic cleaning work in Gloucester. We introduce cleaners to local households looking for ongoing help and match opportunities to the times and locations they are available to work.

Cleaning products and equipment are supplied by each client for use in their home. Appointments normally take place during the daytime from Monday to Friday, and insurance is provided for cleaning work arranged through

Diamond Home Support is looking for experienced self-employed cleaners who would like regular domestic cleaning work in Gloucester. We introduce cleaners to local households looking for ongoing help and match opportunities to the times and locations they are available to work.

Regular Clients and Predictable Visits:

• Most clients require cleaning every week or fortnight.
• Visits are normally arranged for a regular agreed day and time.
• £15.00 per hour, paid directly to you by each client.
• Decide how many clients you want to take on.
• Choose the parts of Gloucester that are convenient for you.
• Insurance is provided for cleaning work arranged through Diamond Home Support.
• Appointments normally take place during the daytime from Monday to Friday.
• Evening and weekend availability is not required.

Typical Work in Clients' Homes:

• Cleaning bathrooms, toilets and showers.
• Cleaning kitchen work surfaces and other kitchen areas.
• Dusting furniture and surfaces.
• Vacuuming carpets and floors.
• Polishing.
• Mopping or steam cleaning hard floors.
• Cleaning internal windows.
• General domestic cleaning agreed with the client.

Cleaning products and equipment are supplied by each client for use in their home.

What You Need:

• Work on a self-employed basis.
• Previous experience of cleaning private homes is preferred, although other relevant cleaning experience may also be considered.
• Be able to provide two references.
• Have a driving licence and access to your own car.
• Be available to travel to clients in Gloucester and the surrounding area.

Cleaners who already have their own clients are welcome to take on additional work where it fits their existing availability. Applicants with suitable previous experience can also gradually build a regular part-time cleaning schedule. Previous domestic cleaning experience is preferred, although other relevant cleaning experience may also be considered. Applicants must be able to provide two references and have a driving licence with access to their own car.
