Job summary

Diamond Home Support is seeking self-employed cleaners to build a regular domestic cleaning round in the Aylesbury area. You will be offered suitable local clients and choose which ones to accept, with visits arranged weekly or fortnightly.

Typical duties include cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and window cleaning. Insurance is provided for work undertaken through Diamond Home Support, with daytime hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be able to provide two references.
• Drivers with access to a car are preferred.
• Experience in domestic cleaning is advantageous.

Diamond Home Support is looking for self-employed cleaners who would like to build a regular domestic cleaning round in the Aylesbury area. We introduce cleaners to local households looking for ongoing weekly or fortnightly cleaning.

How the Work Is Arranged

• Tell us when you are available and which areas you are happy to cover.
• Suitable local clients can then be offered to you.
• You decide which clients you want to accept and how much work you take on.
• Visits are normally arranged for an agreed day and time each week or fortnight.
• £14.00 per hour, paid directly to you by each client.
• Insurance is provided for work undertaken through Diamond Home Support.
• Work generally takes place during the daytime from Monday to Friday, with no requirement for evening or weekend appointments.

Typical Domestic Cleaning

• Cleaning bathrooms, showers and toilets.
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and work areas.
• Dusting and polishing furniture.
• Vacuuming carpets and other flooring.
• Mopping or steam cleaning hard floors.
• Cleaning internal windows.
• General cleaning around the home.

Clients provide the cleaning products and equipment used in their homes.

Who This Would Suit

• People with previous domestic cleaning experience or relevant experience from another cleaning role.
• Applicants who are able to provide two references.
• Drivers with access to a car who can travel to clients in the Aylesbury area.
• Self-employed cleaners looking for a few additional hours or a larger regular cleaning round.

Cleaners who already work independently can keep their existing clients and take on additional work introduced through Diamond Home Support to fill available spaces in their week. Previous domestic cleaning experience is preferred, although relevant experience from another cleaning role may also be considered. Applicants must be able to provide two references and be a driver with access to a car.
